At Taurus, Level 1 Market Data for CME instruments is automatically activated as soon as your account is created. You will instantly have access to real-time bid and ask prices, last traded price, and basic market depth, no action needed from your side.
However, for the other exchanges CBOT, NYMEX, and COMEX you need to activate Level 1 data manually from your dashboard. It’s very easy and only takes a few seconds.
As for Level 2 Market Data, it must always be purchased. Keep in mind that market data is linked to the trader, so with just one subscription, Level 2 will be active for all your accounts under the same email, both Challenge and PA.
Let’s get started.
First, go to the Taurus website and log in using your email and password.
Once you're logged in, you'll be inside your Dashboard.
From there, you’ll be able to activate your market data subscriptions, as long as you have an active account (Challenge or PA).
Now, go to the left side of your screen and click on “Market Data”.
Then, select “Market Data Subscriptions.”
Then you’ll see all available Add-Ons listed.
We’ll start with Level 1, which is free for all exchanges (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX).
Next, you’ll need to choose the period:
- You can activate it for this month only,
- For this month and the next,
- Or for next month only.
For Level 2, the process is almost the same.
You’ll be able to choose between:
- CME only
- The full package for all exchanges (CME, CBOT, COMEX, and NYMEX).
Then, just like with Level 1, you’ll need to select the period.
Remember: subscriptions follow the calendar month.
For example, if you activate it on the 15th, your subscription will still expire on the 30th or 31st, depending on the month.
Next, you’ll need to fill in your billing details.
For Level 1, you’ll see that the invoice generated will have a total value of $0, since it’s completely free.
In the case of Level 2, you’ll need to pay the amount shown on the screen.
Finally, accept the terms and confirm your purchase to complete the activation.
