At Taurus, both Evaluations and Profit Accounts may include a reset option. However, the conditions and price depend on whether it is an Evaluation or a Profit Account.
Evaluation Reset
If an Evaluation is disqualified, you can purchase a reset for $85.
The reset restores the Evaluation to its initial conditions and allows you to start again. However, it does not begin a new subscription cycle or change the account’s original expiration date.
Evaluations operate under 30-day subscription cycles calculated from the original purchase date. Therefore, after the reset is applied, you will only be able to use the time remaining in the current subscription cycle.
For example, if you purchase a reset when there are ten days remaining before the subscription expires, you will have those ten days to continue trading. To keep the account active for a new 30-day cycle, you must complete the renewal before the expiration date.
It is important to understand that a reset and a renewal are two different processes:
- A reset restores the Evaluation to its initial conditions.
- A renewal keeps the account active for a new 30-day cycle without changing the balance, drawdown, or trading history.
For more information about subscription cycles, manual renewals, and how they relate to resets, please refer to Monthly Subscriptions, Manual Payments, and Resets.
Profit Account Reset
Profit Accounts may include a reset option through the PA Reset add-on.
This add-on must be purchased before activating the Profit Account. If the account is subsequently disqualified, the PA Reset allows it to be restored to its initial conditions so you can start again.
Once the Profit Account has been activated, the PA Reset can no longer be added. For this reason, it must be selected and paid for during the activation process.
Unlike Evaluations, Profit Accounts do not have a monthly subscription. Therefore, there are no renewal dates to consider when using the PA Reset.
PA Reset Prices
| Account Size | Price |
|---|---|
| 25K | $229 |
| 50K | $349 |
| 100K | $499 |
If you did not purchase the PA Reset before activating the Profit Account and the account is disqualified, it cannot be reset.
