Direct Prime accounts are designed for traders who prefer to access a Taurus Sim Funded Account, also known as a TPA or Profit Account, without completing an Evaluation. Traders pay a one-time fee and can begin working toward payout eligibility under Taurus’s trading, risk management, and payout requirements.
Direct Prime accounts are available in three standard sizes:
| Account Size | Original Price | Promotional Price | Trailing Drawdown | Maximum Contracts | Consistency Rule |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $318 | $223 | $1,000 | 2 or 10 micros | 20% |
| 50K | $558 | $391 | $2,000 | 4 or 20 micros | 20% |
| 100K | $738 | $406 | $3,000 | 6or 30 micros | 20% |
Pricing note: The promotional prices displayed above apply during August 2026. Promotional prices and available discounts may vary in the future according to the promotion in effect at the time of purchase.
Each amount is a one-time fee. There is no separate Evaluation or activation fee.
Optional EOD Drawdown Add-On
The EOD Drawdown Add-On has an original price of $19 and is available for $9.50 with a 50% promotional discount during August 2026. The promotional price may vary in the future according to the promotion in effect at the time of purchase.
When this Add-On is selected, the drawdown is calculated at the end of the trading day. Without it, Direct Prime accounts use Trailing Drawdown by default.
How Payouts Work
Direct Prime accounts follow the same payout rules as Prime accounts. The only difference is that Direct Prime accounts have a fixed 20% Consistency Rule.
For complete payout requirements, please review the following Taurus Support article:
Payout Rules for Prime Profit Accounts
Fixed 20% Consistency Rule
Direct Prime accounts have a fixed 20% Consistency Rule. The Increase Consistency Add-On is not available for this account type, so the required percentage cannot be adjusted.
No Reset Option
If a Direct Prime account reaches its maximum drawdown, it will be permanently deactivated and cannot be reset or reactivated. To continue trading, the trader must purchase a new account.
