Like all other trading platforms available through Taurus, can only be accessed when you have an active Taurus account. This may be an active Evaluation, Direct Account, or Profit Account.
Once you purchase an account, the trading platforms will be enabled in your Taurus Dashboard.
Download and Install DeepChart Desktop
From your Taurus Dashboard, locate the DeepChart Desktop section in the menu on the left.
Once you enter this section, select DeepChart again. At the top of the page, you will find your DeepChart license and the DeepChart Setup installation file.
Download the setup file and install the application by following the instructions displayed during the installation process.
Once the installation is complete, the DeepChart icon will appear on your desktop.
When you open DeepChart Desktop for the first time, the platform will ask for your DeepChart license. Return to the same Dashboard page where you downloaded the installation file, click the copy icon next to the license, and paste it into the corresponding field in DeepChart.
Once the license has been entered correctly, the platform will be ready for you to create your connection.
Create Your Connection
Before connecting through DeepChart Desktop, make sure DeepChart Web is closed. DeepChart Web must remain closed while you use DeepChart Desktop because only one active connection can be used at a time.
If you previously created an incorrect connection or made an earlier setup attempt, remove that connection before creating a new one. This will help ensure that the platform uses the correct configuration and login information.
To create your connection:
Go to Select a Connection.
Click Feed Settings.
Select Add Connection.
Enter a name for your connection.
Set the Feed Source to dxFeed Prop.
Enter your Taurus credentials.
User: The email address associated with your Taurus account.
Password: The same password you use to log in to your Taurus Dashboard.
After entering the information, click Save.
Once the connection has been created and saved, select it from the Feed menu and connect to the platform. When the connection is active, its status will appear in green.
You can then go to New, select Price Chart, and begin creating your charts and trading setup.
Configure the Market in Symbol Manager
If you have more than one connection in DeepChart Desktop, you must make sure that the market you want to trade is assigned to the correct Taurus connection.
To verify this, go to Options and open Symbol Manager.
Search for the market you want to trade. For example, if you trade instruments included in CME, search for CME.
If CME does not appear in the main list:
Go to Subscribe.
Search for CME.
Add it to your subscriptions.
Return to the main list and search for CME again.
Once CME appears in the main list, select it and click Change Connection. Choose the Taurus connection you just created and click Set.
If you have created only one connection, it will be the only option available, so you do not need to complete this process.
